Kindfeet is operated by A&L Collective Pty Ltd (ABN 53 699 937 712) ("Kindfeet", "we", "us"). We take your privacy seriously and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices — in plain English, because privacy policies don't have to be unreadable.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number (for courier contact), and order details. Payment card details are processed securely by our payment providers and are never stored on our systems. When you browse: standard analytics information such as pages visited, device type, and general location, collected via cookies (see below). When you subscribe, enter a program, or contact us: your email address and the contents of your correspondence.

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders; to provide customer support and handle returns, exchanges and warranty matters; to administer Kindfeet Credit and referral programs; to send order updates; to send marketing emails if you've opted in (every one includes a working unsubscribe link — one click, no guilt trip); to improve our website and products; and to meet our legal obligations, including under Australian Consumer Law.

Who we share it with

Only who's needed to serve you, only what they need: our website platform (Shopify) which hosts the store and processes orders; payment processors (such as PayPal and card providers) who handle transactions; our fulfilment and manufacturing partner overseas, who receives your name, delivery address and order details so your shoes can be made and delivered to your door — this is a cross-border disclosure under Australian privacy law, and we limit it to what delivery genuinely requires; delivery carriers; and our email service for the communications described above. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, full stop.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies for essential store functions (your cart, your login), analytics, and if you arrive via an advertisement, measuring whether our ads are worth what we pay for them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the store will still work, though the cart may be forgetful.

Keeping it safe, and how long we keep it

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (TLS) and access controls, and we keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires (tax and consumer law require us to keep order records for several years).

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where the law allows. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Contact info@kindfeet.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time — usually a few business days.
